Modern Slavery Act Statement

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 (part 6) of the modern slavery act 2015, and sets out the steps taken by Premier Automotive Ltd. To ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not operating within either its own business or its supply chain.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Premier Automotive Ltd is a franchised motor dealer group representing Kia, Kia PBV & Isuzu car franchises in Dukinfield, Rochdale and Hyde. Premier Automotive are involved in the sale, repair, preparation, testing, & purchasing of motor vehicles and associated parts and servicing of cars and light commercial vehicles, along with providing financial services and support services to compliment the same. In addition Premier Automotive Ltd. employ the services of selected external Cleaning, property maintenance, accounting companies, each of whom is accessed and monitored for any potential area of concern.

PHILOSOPHIES AND PRINCIPLES

Premier Automotive Ltd. Strive to ensure that it does not contribute towards adverse human rights impacts through any of its operations. There is an on-going commitment to engage only with suppliers that uphold the same principals as Premier Automotive Ltd. All our employees are aware of our stance and encouraged to be observant to any possibilities where adverse human rights might present themselves, and to report any concerns to the Directors of the company. Premier Automotive Ltd. will make all necessary corrective action to maintain that stance under any circumstances.

Premier Automotive Ltd. Recognise the importance of maintaining constant vigilance to identify and address any impacts associated with modern slavery and human trafficking throughout its supply chain. And will monitor the stance taken by any current or future supplier or associated entity as an on- going process.

TRAINING AND UNDERSTANDING

All employees are trained in recognising any potential adverse human right activity within the workplace and the surrounding work contacts and environments. They are encouraged to report any concern no matter how slight or in what capacity to their line managers. The subject is re-raised in every one to one team review. Potential external areas of concern include dealings with third party companies and suppliers of cleaning and ground and property maintenance and specialist services, all of whom are considered and assessed before dealing would be commenced with them.

PERFORMANCE

During the preceding year Premier Automotive have encountered or suspected no such breach in their policy around modern slavery and human trafficking.
